Underground Kitchen Sets Dates For First Baltimore Pop-up Dinners - The Underground Kitchen, a Richmond, Va.-based pop-up dining klub will become the latest grup to launch a secret dinner series in Baltimore when it hosts its first events here this month.

The organization will put on its first Baltimore dinners March 20 and 21 in undisclosed locations. Similar to other secret suppers, the menu, chef and location will not be revealed until a few days before the events.

hat guests can expect is a five- to seven-course meal in an unconventional spot. Underground Kitchen launched in 2013 in Richmond and has expanded to other cities in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Previous events have been hosted in art studios, warehouses and town squares.

Tickets are limited to 120 — 60 for each night — and hopeful guests can register at theundergroundkitchen.org/foodie-registration to receive an invitation to purchase passes. Tickets, $150 each, will go on sale Friday. The price includes food, drinks, gratuity and tax, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Carol Adams Foundation, which assists victims of domestic violence.

Each dinner has a theme, and the central potret of Baltimore's upcoming dinners is "Spring Fling."

Underground Kitchen isn't the only pop-up dinner series making its Baltimore debut this year. The international Diner en Blanc is coming to Baltimore this summer. A date has yet to be announced for the event.

The Baltimore Sun also hosts a Secret Supper dinner series, with dates set for March 30, June 13 and Sept. 19.
